The Döberitzer Grünzug, located directly adjacent to Berlin’s main train station, forms a distinctive and somewhat unconventional stretch of urban nature—a narrow strip running alongside the railway line, nestled between densely built-up city quarters. Together with the future neighborhood park planned near the tunnel entrance and the adjacent History Park on the grounds of the former prison, a characteristic ensemble of parks will emerge, offering diverse atmospheres and complementary uses.
