In the immediate vicinity of Baakenpark Amerigo-Vespucci-Platz spans as a slightly tilted platform between the upper flood-protected level to the lower promenades. By gradually lowering the square´s center at its borders the characteristic flood walls crystallise. In these walls manifold types of ramps and stages are integrated. Thus the green square becomes a place to be appropriated by diverse users and interest groups.
