A key Science and Technology park and industrial estate develops around the former airport terminal on the site of the closed airport Tegel. Functioning as a new centre it will convey a sense of identity. As part of the urban development the individual characteristics of the surrounding landscapes are incorporated into the new quarter and these various factors converge like joints in the central campus square. The open spaces will be completed in several stages until 2040, estimated construction cost approx. € 26 million.
